I am very happy today. It is summer. I have awesome plans next week for BFD and then camping at sunset beach with Movis and some friends. & I’ll be working summer camps at the ranch all summer, which means i’ll be able to ride more and get in better shape. I believe my family plans on going on a vacation in August. I’m hoping either in the mountains or some place tropical=) Then when summer is over I will finally enroll in New York Institute of Photography and make my business official. It’s really happening. I’m gonna do what I wanna do with my life…and nothing’s going to stop me. Not even money or society’s expectations.
Another goal for next year is to take riding lessons at a nicer barn where I can learn how to jump better/higher. Of course i’ll have to get a job so I can pay for it.
I’ll also have to buy a nicer camera and a tripod and lighting equipment and all that jazz. But I can do it. The nice thing about not going to a four year university is that I can use my money on things that are actually relevant to my goals. Yay.
I’m just excited about life. Time to clean everything i’ve been putting off now that I have nothing else to do;) I’m thinking about redecorating my walls with all the new art work I did this year in my classes at Gavilan. I really got a lot out of choosing all creative classes this semester. My songwriting class has gotten me more involved in my music. My photo class was a great refresher/I learned a lot of new skills as well. Art is just fun no matter what. And Creative Writing was a little challenging, but it definitely got my ideas flowing a lot more rapidly and with more open mindedness.
